Audience response system is a type of ICT solution which is used to develop interactivity between audience and presenters. It combines presentation software, wireless hardware and audiences. This system is used to develop presentation slides which can display charts, diagrams, graphs, questions and answers, learning material and images. A wireless keypad is used by the audiences to select correct answers or to vote and then there answers or votes are transmitted to the receiever attached to the presenter's computer.
The software that comes with ICT Solutions system i.e. audience response system is installed in the presenter's computer so that it can collect and aggregate the responses from individual students and project the results either in data format or graphical format on the interactive whiteboard or simple projection screen. The data collected by the response software can be anonymously collected or it can be traced depending on the present requirements or needs of the course or training. The collected data is stored in a database for easy retrival in the future or for detailed analysis.
